Zelda BOTW VR Mod Releasing In 2 Days! 5 years ago, Crementif began doing the “impossible”. Trying to port one of the greatest games of all time into full 6DOF VR with motion controls. But being a Wii U game, this was an entirely different kind of challenge. Through way too many sleepless nights, Crementif stayed with it, and is finally releasing his mod free and open source in 2 days! Here’s just a few of the features:
 - Full stereo-rendering with 6DOF (not AER). - Full VRIK, hands and arms support. You can drip yourself out in all the fanciest clothes. - Fully and physically wield weapons, torches and bokoblin arms into combat. - Gestures to equip and throw weapons. - Use motion controls to interact with the world to solve puzzles or start fires. - Optional third-person mode. - Large mod compatibility. BetterVR only modifies the code and no game data. Most other mods should be compatible. Zelda BOTW has some of the best physics and in VR, a whole new world of what you can do opens up.

@WillFaucherVFX riddle me this magic man... how drag and drop is this? can you just "add rain" and materials just work? all my other rain solutions are pretty jank... does this one "just work"? or is that asking too much of UE?

A feature I notice many EasyRain users missing is the puddle material function that can be used on static meshes *and* landscapes (Example below is a landscape mesh) You can set the water depth, color, ripples, splashes, all controlled through the EasyRain blueprint. #UnrealEngine

I think i would take furies way more seriously if they had realistic outfits like this.

@CaptainDoge1 maybe an unpopular opinion... but i feel prime 4 should have been 3rd person... the third person on the bike looks so good, and i feel it would flow with the shift to open world too

If we were to get a show or even a new third person game that emphasizes Samus’s acrobatic abilities, I need her to move like this. She has elegance and smoothness in her movements yet she has that weight when she lands. I love it.

echoes 2 multiplayer was actually really fun, as was prime hunters... i put a stupid amount of time into prime hunters local multiplayer with my friends...
