I work for a 25 year old and it’s amazing. Want to work out in the middle of the day? Go ahead. Start work at 10:30? Not a problem. Younger people leading companies is where it’s at. No rules “just because” and a “just be sure to get your work done” attitude

@thewealthdad Yep!! I switched jobs twice in 2021 and went from 38k to 70k to 90k salary. My parents shake their head but I laughed all the way to the bank 🏦

Been slacking on this page. Gonna get back to it. Oct. earned: $5,320 Oct. saved: $3,330 Current savings rate of 63%/mo. Not bad for living in Manhattan.

Accepted a new job with a $90k salary. Extra ~$1k/mo after taxes will go right to brokerage account. Lifestyle stays the same. More money coming in. More money being put to work. Better shot I have at retiring early 💰

No because if you take care of your money you can retire in your 40s pretty easily.

Income increases but lifestyle doesn’t change 💯

@joshuacornett_2 25 here. I’m actively working to increase my income as much as I can. I keep a strict budget, and about 35% of my monthly income gets invested each month in stocks, ETFs and mutual funds. Even if my income increases, my lifestyle stays the same. Compounding is your friend 🤙🏼

The ultimate life goal is to get $2.5m in the taxable brokerage and take out $100k/yr while leaving the rest to grow with the market. Of that $100k, only $3k goes to federal taxes. The remaining $97k split among 12 months is $8,083. Never have to work again. Boom.

Someone once told me they don’t want a dream job, but instead want a dream life and I think about that a lot

@Finance20s So I use it everyday and love it. I see it all around me. People love it. Problem was the branding. They started a turn around and have been doing really well recently. If the turnat takes footing this could be a great stock down the road. Well see.
