@CoachBroker No, citizens of Hawaii don’t feel rivalry with other islands. But Hawaiian islands, while having aspects that make them unique, also have a similar cultural connection. Northern and Southern California are vastly different in so many ways and feel like different states.

Do Hawaiians from different islands have a rivalry like northern Californians and southern Californians? I think it’s stupid because I love all of California.

I understood keeping Bryce Eldridge in Triple-A to start the season, but after the lack of quality at-bats we’ve watched this season, the #SFGiants are running out of reasons to keep him in Sacramento. It's time. It's time to see what Bryce can do at the big league level!

@Coach_Yac Not looking great so far, but still early to judge. If the team still sucks by the end of the 2027 season (if there is one), may be time for a change. But also don’t know how much his hands were tied this season by ownership given the likelihood of a strike next year.

@Misnomer Doesn’t matter to me, Hard Rock is such an awful hospitality company I would never care to stay anyways. They are 100% concept driven but provide a terrible guest experience.

@jimmysoldout Mortgage is a steady amount that doesn’t go up over the years, and you build equity from payments and the typical increase in home value. Rents go steadily up and you have nothing when you move out.

no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you

@kings_muse Lots of negative posts about Southwest lately but their planes are still full and I’ve had good experiences. Definitely better than Alaska.

When did Southwest stop becoming the affordable way to fly, it’s just as expensive as the much nicer airlines.

I didn’t realize how many rock stars are still touring past the age of 70… until I made this list. I double checked for upcoming dates, though of course, some may change. Honestly, good for them. Still out there doing what they love. Don’t you just love that? Who did I miss?

Formed in San Jose in 1970, this band went from gritty rock roots to smooth, radio-dominating hits. A mid-70s lineup shift changed everything… and somehow made them even bigger. Two completely different sounds, same band. They even hated their name. Do you know it?
