Talked a ton about Darius Acuff's NCAA Tournament run on the NBA Draft Show. He's the most polished teenage offensive guard that I've evaluated since I've been doing this. The way he blends scoring at all three levels and passing is ridiculous. gametheorysamv.substack.com/p/2026-nba-dra…

So much criticism for Peterson all season, and then he ends a half like he just did, and it's hard to argue if someone says he'd be the first overall pick.

This afternoon, after finishing a lawn where my riding mower unexpectedly broke down, I found myself staying much longer than planned and completing the job with my push mower. When I finally finished, I was getting ready to head down the hill to two other lawns nearby, but without the riding mower, I decided to call it a day and head home. As I was leaving the area, I noticed a gentleman just starting to mow his lawn. His name is Mr. Houston, and he is 90 years old. Seeing him pushing that mower stopped me in my tracks. I pulled over, walked up, and introduced myself. I explained that we mow lawns for free for those who could use a hand and asked if it would be okay if I finished his lawn for him. With a grateful smile, he said yes. As I was about to begin , he pulled his mower back to his porch ,he sat back and relaxed. When I finished, I told him he wouldn’t have to worry about cutting his lawn anymore because I would take care of it for him. The smile he gave me in that moment said everything. Today reminded me that sometimes the things we see as setbacks are actually blessings in disguise. If my lawnmower hadn’t broken down earlier, I would have gone in a completely different direction and never crossed paths with Mr. Houston. That broken mower led me exactly where I was meant to be. Now Mr. Houston has someone to help care for his lawn, and I gained the joy of knowing that a small moment of kindness can change someone’s day. Moments like this remind me that everything truly does happen for a reason.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to reporters on improving Dallas' defense: "I feel very good about it. We have nowhere but up to go on defense. That's not anyone's fault at all. But we're going to almost assuredly be much better. And I'm betting on us improving on offense. That ought to get us with a better feeling when we get into December."

Something @SportsSturm said on our show yesterday has stuck in my head the last 24 hours. The Cowboys are completely incapable of negotiating without leverage, they’re incapable of moving fast, and they’ve routinely disrespected the fraternity of agents that represent players. Free agency was never ever going to go well for them.
