@Adonis_Stergiou Typically I try to stick to SPY and TSLA to narrow focus, when I bounce around I feel like I chasing ever dang move and end up in a hole. Typically try to use some SMAs and AVWAP (session and weekly). But if I had to pick where I can be better I chase my entries.

Don’t buy 0dte or weeklies until you get a groove. If you do do it, should lower your risk ALOT bc you need to be fucking quick AND RIGHT or else your down 50% quick.. Go 2-4 or even 4-8 weeks out. Try that out for a bit but also understand we are 25% off the lows in two months. Summer trading is not the same as October to May. At least that’s how I see it. Use a higher timeframe. Use multiple tickers that meet your setup. Sectors rotate. Money goes from one group to another. I use multiple timeframes to do my analysis and 15min for entries. But I’m mostly on 1h,4h,daily and weekly.

@Adonis_Stergiou When I have the time, that’s typically my poison. Thought of get in and out with a decent % gain compared to something further out that may not get the same return. What’s your time frame to spot entry levels? 1 HR?

It’s easy to get in a trade man. It’s how you manage it. You should pull all of your trades into a journal and analyse the shit out of them. I used tradezilla for 4 months to analyse and figured it out. Little paper cuts are better than zero. I hope you don’t trade weeklies or 0dte if you don’t have full attention to the position while you’re working. That’ll destroy your psychology

@Adonis_Stergiou I appreciate that guidance, truly. Here’s my issue though, my entries suck lol. I’ll spend a little more $ on a higher premium contract a few days out and then it dips and I cut for -$60, then -$40 and before the end of the day I’m -$100+ and then -$500 on the week.

Start using alerts to notify you when the stock gets to an area of interest. when you have time to look at the market, and there is a setup you like, take the trade. Day trading while having a job is really frustrating. Looking for 2-5 days swings would be easier. Lower your risk. Don’t force trades. Cut losses fast. Take paper cuts. You need to match your trading style with you character and personality.

@Adonis_Stergiou Usually just when price is crossing a SMA or VWAP line. Nothing with levels or liquidity areas.

@Adonis_Stergiou Full time job so focus and time varies depending on the day, which then sometimes makes it worse when I feel I have to make a move because my time is limited. I study charts all evening and watch YouTube videos on the weekends to help. I just cant get it to all come together lol

@Adonis_Stergiou The more screen time I put in the more I over complicate and over think scenerios and mess up my trades, unfortunately. Still grinding though.

thank you bro. screen time. watch the market and follow those who provide value not just p/l. I will post some books that helped me greatly. everyone goes through periods of drawdown tho. right now if you're in a drawdown you're trying to short a freight train. ride the wave as long as can!

$SLV Bottom ticked that Put purchase yesterday right at 11:30am EST. I use particular times in the trading day to help with entries and exits. There are certain times in the day that can become pivots that put in a top, bottom, or front run momentum in either direction. 11:30am EST is one of them. I'd like to see a pop to the YTD anchored VWAP around 78.4 tomorrow to get back in, with smaller size to preserve profits. I'm thinking we can get a nice dib to $72.47 or $74 before going back up to around $85-$90. I think $85-$90 is the ceiling again and we go back to the bottom of the range, but that could all change when and if this happens. Nice 100% gain overnight on 100ct to lock in $20k today! 🦾
