Top Dolphins draft pick Kadyn Proctor has 1972 tattooed on the knuckles on his right hand.
I asked him about it, and he said it’s for the birth year of his stepdad, but he also understands it was a very good year for the Dolphins.
“I suppose it was meant to be,” he said.
Proctor also has 2005 on the knuckles on his other hand for his own birth year.

Because @ckparrot piqued my curiosity, I had to go hunt it down. Since 2008, when Jon-Eric Sullivan became a scout with Green Bay, the Packers have ranked 1st in the NFL in drafting successful offensive linemen (and 4th overall in draft success). (data via @PerThirtySixers)

What I can’t get over is that there was a much safer, physical lineman available in Ioane. Could’ve stuck at his natural position too
Not mad about their goal, just think they took a very unnecessary risk to try accomplishing it. Our OL coach, who’s unproven to say the least, is taking on the biggest project of the 1st round

@elitetakes_ After a day to digest what do you think about Proctor? I personally love the Chris Johnson pick, Sully said he was their best player on the board at the time and went up and got him. Proctor is a gamble for sure but Sully emphasized building this thing from the inside out

According to NFL Draft data analysis by PerThirtySix, the Packers have been the best team in the league at drafting offensive linemen since 2006. That's good news for the Dolphins as they've hired Jon-Eric Sullivan of the Packers as GM. The Dolphins ranked 27th in OL drafting.
