@MichaelRosenYes If it was issued in March 2016 it would expire in March 2026 as a passport is valid for 10 years, that I'd why you were not allowed to fly. If the expiry is August then you would be able to fly as the rule is 3 or more months left on passport and you can travel to EU

Ha! I’ve just been refused entry onto a plane from Stansted to Bologna because my passport issue date is March 2016. The expiry date is August 2026 but the rule is 10 years from issue date. Another Brexit benefit. Apparently. Go home now.

As someone who entered politics 18 months ago, I’ve been shocked at just how pally and cosy politicians from legacy parties are with each other in green rooms. It’s telling. They laugh at how ill informed they think voters are, catch up like all friends, then go on panels and pretend to oppose each other. It’s why nothing changes whether people vote Tory or Labour. They’re globalist, open borders Britain-hating traitors. Which is why they post stuff like this from the BBC, who of course are in the same boat. I find it sickening. They are the establishment. They must be cleared out. Soon, they will be.
