Thanks @kevinbonham this provides an excellent example of how the senate system works. Unfortunately parties like UAP put up candidates like Babet and then spend millions to get them elected. And to be honest I am hoping to win the 6th senate spot in the 2025 election :)

We demand vaping products be legally accessible in regulated markets to help adult smokers quit or reduce tobacco use. These products must be protected from illicit market infiltration, with enforced consumer protection measures to ensure safe, legitimate harm-reduction tools.

A political accident. The most expensive seat in the senate and the least likely to be returned to the senate when their term has expired.
The only thing that will be eradicated is his name on a Senatorial office door.

The Vic parl passed without division an amendment that means that if a medicinal cannabis patient tests positive, but was taking their medicine as prescribed and not impaired the magistrate will not automatically cancel their license
