This is unacceptable. Labor Cairns MP Michael Healy has been caught out again making disgusting comments on social media, this time antisemitic posts.

Under Labor’s decade of decline, weak laws saw victim numbers skyrocket by 193%. We’ve already delivered a 7.2% reduction in victim numbers but we know there’s still more work to do. It’s all part of our plan to restore safety where you live.

It means crimes like aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm, conspiring to murder, stalking and abusing someone with a disability can be covered by tougher penalties.

Steven Miles & Qld Labor still won’t say if they will (or won’t) support our expansion of Adult Crime, Adult Time laws or our new laws to combat antisemitism. They’re not being transparent with Qlders about legislation to make our communities safer. What are they hiding?

Good morning to everyone except Steven Miles who still won’t be straight with Queenslanders and say if he will (or won’t) support our expansion of Adult Crime, Adult Time laws to keep our communities safe.

Victim numbers are down 7.2% and we can’t allow Labor’s chaos to stop us progressing our plan to restore safety where you live. Steven Miles and Labor created the Youth Crime Crisis by weakening laws during their decade of decline.

Happy Lunar New Year, Queensland! I can’t think of a better way to welcome the Year of the Horse than by celebrating the start of construction on the Chinese Culture and Heritage Centre in Cairns.

This is strong, decisive action to fight antisemitism and address terrorist-motivated offending to ensure Queenslanders can live, worship and gather safely. We’ll be introducing tough new laws to Parliament this week.

A privilege to host visiting PNG women at Parliament and hear their stories. These wonderful women are working to make a better future for their communities and families, particularly in some very rural and remote areas.
