NEWS: Wake Forest transfer guard Juke Harris has committed to Tennessee, he told @On3. The 6-7 sophomore averaged 21.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season. Harris, who has been projected as an early second-round pick, tells @On3 he will also be withdrawing from the NBA Draft. Massive news for Rick Barnes. on3.com/college/tennes…

Imagine this as the play in situation this year. Other than undeserving teams getting in, expanding the at large play ins make the seeding illogical . #13 ASU vs #13 Cal with an equal chance of getting into the field of 64 as #11 Texas & #11 NC State makes ZERO sense. With only 4 at large play in teams in the current set up, those 4 are essentially dead even on ranking/seeding. Now having 12 (!!!) of them play adds so much disparity between them. Another reason why this is dumb!

Sources: The NCAA has initiated the final steps to expand the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments to 76 teams. The expansion is on track to be formalized in the upcoming weeks, with mid-May as the target. The 76-team tournaments begin next year. espn.com/mens-college-b…
