The government is silencing dissent, hiding its treachery behind closed doors by gagging committees, jailing protestors, and ramming through heavily censorship focused, intrusive laws that invade our private lives They’ve made it easier for police to intrude on our rights without warrants, lowered the bar for those warrants, rolled out vague “hate speech” rules, and are openly threatening and bribing politicians to cross the floor and join them permanently They’re taxing citizens into poverty—homes are unaffordable, heat is a luxury, and jobs barely exist because the government refuses to let Canada develop our vast natural resources For 10 years they’ve wrecked the economy while opening the floodgates to millions upon millions of undereducated immigrants. To put it in perspective relative to the U.S. population, the same policies would mean America taking in 120–140 million mostly uneducated immigrants over the past 10 years They’re easing citizenship rules, fast-tracking foreigners into our military (which is already showing serious instability), and our housing market is collapsing under the weight of that unsustainable immigration and destroyed industries. Healthcare is being utterly crippled by the surge, and unbelievably unsustainable policy Canada has some of the most environmentally responsible mining and drilling on Earth, brilliant minds, and a resource-rich landmass that could power the world—both renewable and traditional. We could be leading the green transition and setting the standard for responsible oil refining, manufacturing, and new tech patents But for over a decade, our government has blocked it all. Trillions have left our economy. Our best and brightest are leaving in droves. Our kids are in the streets or going hungry with no hope for the future. So many brothers and sisters across the country now see abandoning the rest of us as their only way out—and you can’t even blame them I’ve lived in Alberta for 15 years. They are my family—my brothers and sisters. It genuinely pains my heart and scares me for the future, but I can’t help but support them. If leaving gives you and your families a better shot, I get it I just wish we could have destroyed this corrupt regime together and saved our country like the proud Canadians we grew up knowing we all were
