In case anyone thought I was exaggerating about the ride to the airport story, I got this text from a parent of a player who was on the team. Meanwhile fans have no idea. Leadership knows but says and does nothing.

True story: before leaving to Arch Madness, an asst coach called the dad of our all conference player asking for a ride to the airport immediately after the game. The dad said, is everything ok? If we win, we play the next day. Asst coach tells dad, ‘we have no chance to win’

Hard to fundraise when so
many former players have been rubbed the wrong way.
Most long time fans are embarrassed & stopped attending games.
Donors are thinking, why give?
When the bus is going in the wrong direction and cant be turned around, get off at the first available stop

@stoolUE There are solutions to get the program back. They could be top half, maybe even finish 3rd/4th in the conference NEXT YEAR and championship the following year with a few proper changes. Help is nearby but people have to be willing to listen and make hard decisions.

UEBB is on a downward spiral. The average fan is being pushed away by horrible play and losing seasons.The die hards are now being pushed away by the also horrible(and spineless)leadership within the program.If we ever want success again there must be accountability and change.

I also had conflict with the staff bc I felt guys were lazy. When I left I publicly said watch how the lack of NIL & staff laziness destroys the program. And here we are

Didn’t last a week of criticizing the new UE regime without getting blocked. Yikes
Say what you want about Spencer, but he never once felt the need to block fans airing frustrations and we tweeted much worse at them.

@Rivboat_Gambler I loved that school.. gave 29 years of love, & loyalty. 1994 to 2023. Won a championship. Give time & money. I tried to warn ppl how NIL and laziness was going to impact the program. I was told to shut up & go away.
I wish things were different but this is what the people wanted
