So like, I get banning Steve will apparently have Nintendo ninjas at your doorstop. But, what is stopping TO's from just "restricting" Steve in a way that effectively bans him? Like just say if you select Steve you have to set your handicap percentage to 300% and you get 1 stock?

@RockManSSB @deluxebows Wrong. The bans were getting increasingly common at majors then the Steve’s snitched to Nintendo and Nintendo put a stop to the whole concept of banning Steve
