@DoctorKos6 @Omahh_11 Got to the quarterfinals last year and was the only team who put up a fight against PSG all year? And made it to the semi-finals w/ Villarreal in 2021. That’s a better UCL ‘history’ than most coches over the last 5-6 years.

⚽️Emery is decent but a little overrated among some. He do seem to win only against the less than Top shelf teams or less than the best of the best. Even his European trophy it’s the one without teams like Bayern, Barcelona or Liverpool. The way you people talk about him it’s as if he won a league title in one of the top 5 leagues. Or as if he once won a UCL. Also all these years in England why has he not won any domestic cups? Winning an FA cup or Carabao cup even once, where he has to go against the best English teams, would look better. He seem to thrive with middle class teams in middle completions like dropping down from UCL to Europa half way through the season. How many times has he made the Quaterfinals in a UCL?

He has 20 years of management experience, and in that time, he has finished in the top 3 only 5 times, and in the top 2 just twice — and that was nearly 15 years ago. Emery’s average league position at Valencia is 4th, at Sevilla is 6th, at Villarreal is 7th, and currently at Aston Villa, it’s 6th. That’s the level Emery can operate at. Some Arsenal fans feel the club’s board didn’t back him, especially considering he almost sold Saka in exchange for Zaha. Emery managed PSG, one of the richest clubs in the world. PSG winning the French league is as common as Eba from Garri. But what did Emery achieve? He lost the league to Monaco, which was quite embarrassing — he lost by about 8 points and scored 24 goals fewer than Monaco. Disgraceful. Aston villa has been eliminated in both FA cup and Carabao cup Tell your club to sign him if you think he is a world class manager Manchester City needs a manager Tottenham needs a manager Liverpool need too
