@ShakExcellence I am continually amazed that a franchise that has repeatedly topped several worst game lists is able to have consistently well-received and well-reviewed movies. Especially after the debacle with the first one.

I feel the idea of making something "exclusive" to only a select group of privileged otakus is something more embraced in Japan than the more open-access demand model elsewhere. The idea that select media will only be ever be granted to a lucky few people isn't popular overseas.
