@Fish4Fun3 He was one rough guy. The first concert I ever attended was as a teenager, and it was to see David Allan Coe. We had third row seats. Surrounded by biker gangs. Needless to say, we minded our business and never went to another of his shows ever again. It was rough.

@BooksTiffany @Lace_n_Liturgy Yes, everyone is an expert < rolling eyes > I am happy things worked out in the long run. A friend's baby would cry all night . Poor Lisa would be in a rocking chair all night trying to get her to sleep. It lasted almost 6 months

Some of these babies sanctify us just a bit more than others. 😅 I look back and think, God thank you for carrying me theough that even when I felt alone. I had really horrible post partum and the doctors just slapped some birth control pills at me as the fix. I just wanted to die, we had a baby who slept in 15 min cycles (for 5 months), and my poor husband was teying to hold us all together and finish up his Masters thesis. I look back now and see how going through that blackness actually strengthened my spiritual walk and strengthened my marriage. But it was a bad situation for a long time, and very foolish people kept trying to give advice to me when I had already tried it all. They didn't understand that I felt like such a failure already that I literally wanted to end my life so my baby would have a chance to have a better mother. No one can understand the depths of darkness and plain out spiritual attack that happens to a mother in that situation.

Random people every day: "shouldn't baby be sleeping through the night by now??? Maybe you just need to let her cry." Me:

We planned an outside wedding on my parents farm & got rained out. Our wedding was ugly bc we didn’t have money for decorations & the few I had were designed for an outdoor wedding. But I loved my dress an my pearls were a gift from my grandmother. Trevor’s grandma sewed my veil.

@Noash22 We have a chain link fence backyard and when our Yorkies was puppies they could go through it , so we had to put chicken wire on the chain link to keep them in . ( As puppies, they was about the size of a squirrel )

Puppies found out how to get outta the dog door today 😑 it’s a good thing to make potty training easier but now I have to go check the fence for any nooks and cranny’s. Chihuahua puppies are small. 🫠

@Lace_n_Liturgy I absolutely despised the ones that were like, oh my baby was sleeping by 6 weeks. I did the XYZ method. Like girl, no you didn't, you just won the genetic lottery, shut it.

@wadelentz I was reading about it this morning. I was surprised to learn he actually wrote that famous Johnny Paycheck song Take This Job and Shove It . Yes, hopefully Jesus did know his name and called it 😉

@Noash22 Mom is still doing good after the TAVR . My daughter is coming for a little bit this afternoon.
