I don't think you understand what money is, but to your credit, most people don't, so that, and the fact that people often succumb to petty envy, is why these silly ideas end up popular. If one tiny subset of the population had "all the money", it would simply cease to have any value except that represented by that small subset's productive capacity. Which presumably wouldn't be much. In practice, other money would just be invented by everyone else to represent their own productive capacity. When people have money, that means they can direct productive capacity. When people have a lot of money, they can direct more productive capacity. When people earn money, that means other people value their productive capacity, which in the case of investors (which is how the wealthiest tend to earn money) is about the meta value of their direction of productive capacity. That is, wealth often means good at knowing what people want produced at large scale. It's not perfect, but it tends towards that ideal over time. This is all about who gets to direct production, and a free market lets everyone try to do their best at that, and judge everyone else doing that, all at the same time, dynamically. When the government taxes and spends or redistributes, it's just overruling everyone and directing some amount of production itself. So you're effectively saying politicians make better production decisions than everyone else, especially those whose prior production decisions many have likely tacitly approved of.

When one tiny group of people have all the money - the game of monopoly is over. Tax the rich. Circulate the money. Or the game ends. And it's not pretty.
