2025 was challenging with aggressive capital rotation and crypto’s broad underperformance relative to traditional asset classes. We ended the year with 16.7% gain but would've been better off investing into childcares on a risk-adjusted basis. A thread on our Year-In-Review:

Some thoughts and lessons I have for 2025. Happy holidays and godspeed! 1. market breadth will continue to fall. asset selection will become more difficult. either invest in the best fundamentals or the most novel/experimental ideas - no inbetweens 2. from a micro perspective, shitty altcoin conditions are partially a byproduct of the market becoming more sophisticated. everyone is already well equipped with tools and strong market intuition. without net new capital the price ceiling of alts will continue to fall. again, be extremely selective. 3. even the sexiest narratives can't last forever. always have an exit plan and dont get blindsided by price. 4. if market conditions arent in your favour stylistically, dont try to force a square peg through a round hole. either adapt or sit on your hands. 5. calling tops and/or bottoms and betting the farm on it is risky behaviour. froth can become frothier and cheap can become cheaper. always have a stop and avoid averaging up/down blindly. 6. dont beat yourself up if you miss multiple big runners. you only need to be right once to make it. 7. majority of the wealthiest/semi-retired guys u see on CT made their first pot of gold by believing in something. you wont achieve anything if you're not showing high conviction at least once. 8. work for your bags. sometimes great ideas dont take off because they lack market attention. build a thesis and show it to the people who matter. 9. keep your circle small. might be contrarian here but i hate joining large "trader chats". most chats are pvp and have high levels of distrust internally. the best ideas are always exchanged through DMs or in a small trusted group. 10. be very aware of your trading timeframes. people often make short term decisions that are based on long term factors. Not uncommon to see people blindly top blasting into an uponly chart only to regret when it retraces 30%. 11. Take care of yourself, both physically and mentally. Strong believer that a strong body and sharp mind translates into better decision making/market performance.
