First day of Teacher Appreciation and I got my final Evaluation! PERFECT SCORE BABY!!! I know we don’t get anything extra, but very good for my ever inflating ego😆

When I was in the fourth grade, I looked forward to playing The Oregon Trail every day at school. We’d sign up and try to get there early so I could play with my friends Shannon or Z before everyone else arrived. I was fascinated by the idea of what real frontier life must have been like, compared to sitting in front of a chunky monitor just pretending. Coupled with reading the Little House on the Prairie series, my intrigue with early pioneer life was deeply rooted. I dreamt of scenes precisely like I find while traveling out west, just like this cabin found in the ghost town of Grafton, Utah.

Being a teacher is truly one of the biggest blessings. There is nothing like those sweet 3 & 4-year-olds running in with big smiles and giving you the tightest hugs. Those little moments make everything worth it. 🥹💛 I also just want to take a minute and thank EVERYONE on here. The support I’ve seen for teachers is incredible. Watching people help classrooms and show kindness reminds me we’re all in this together. It’s not always easy, but this community makes it so much better. I appreciate y’all more than you know!
