Statement about my past: Over the past few days, I’ve been doing a lot of reflection on my journey as a manager thinking about everything I’ve achieved, but also about the things I’ve started and never really finished. Honestly, I had to admit to myself that I’ve announced way too many projects in the past that are still incomplete to this day. And even though these were all my own personal ventures, it doesn’t sit right with me especially not with the kind of ambition and drive I know I have deep inside of me. A big part of the problem was that I constantly took on too much at once. I wanted to do it all, all the time mostly to prove to myself that I was capable. But in doing that, I completely overestimated what I could realistically handle. And I wasn’t willing to admit it, not even to myself. Showing weakness just never felt like an option for me, especially with everything I’ve experienced in the past – bullying, hate, and constantly feeling like I had to fight to be taken seriously. But that’s exactly what I want and need to change now. From here on out, I’m committing to focusing on fewer projects at a time no more than two or three. But those few will get my full attention, energy, and creativity. I don’t want to start a hundred things I want to finish what I start, and do it with real quality and heart. That’s what I owe myself, and also the people who believe in me. As a small gesture, I’d also like to donate 100€ to a good cause. Feel free to drop suggestions in the comments I’ll go through them and pick the one that feels right to me. Maybe something really meaningful can come out of this moment. Thank you to everyone who’s stuck with me. Your support means more than you probably realize. ❤️
