The Lakers are proud to have the Grammy-winning Fisk Jubilee Singers of @Fisk1866 perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing" prior to tonight's game.

In memory of Dr. Paul Kwami, this was the last story I did with him this year. Dr. Kwami was the musical director for the @FiskJubilee. Fisk University said Dr. Kwami passed away today. May he rest peacefully.

With profound grief and heavy hearts, we deeply regret to inform the passing of Musical Director of the Fisk Jubilee Singers®, Dr. Paul T. Kwami.

How many groups can you name that have been around since 1871? The @FiskJubilee Singers have been spreading joy and healing with their music for 150 years. When we opened our doors in 1892, they were among the first to perform. Last week, we kept the tradition alive! #Ryman130
