The presidential debate I would love to see is a good-faith, nuanced deep-dive into policy and ideas. Unfortunately, we're unlikely to get that from either side in the debate tonight. I have hope that long-form podcasts help gradually normalize chill, honest, respectful discussion with leaders of opposing sides. I've been trying to help in that effort, but have failed so far. I'm not giving up though ❤
