@plesafortexas The EV registration fee which is supposed to take the place of the fuel tax has 100% going to the roads. Where's your care for education there? Did you even read what you voted yes for? Fix the EV tax!!

@plesafortexas The State of Texas charges a flat 20 cent per gallon tax on gasoline and diesel fuels. Of this 20 cents, the Texas Constitution dedicates 75 percent (15 cents) of motor fuel tax revenue to the state highway system, and the remaining 25 percent (5 cents) to public education. 1/2

@plesafortexas You and @leachfortexas should have raised registration for gas vehicles while you were at it. Come on, you two. At $0.20/gal in state fuel tax I'm not paying that much for the EV registration equivalent a year with our Honda Accord. Jeff, I thought you were better than that.

@plesafortexas @leachfortexas would you consider a bill to kill the state fuel tax and charge every Texan $200 more on their registration? Want to make sure I'm paying my fair share like EV drivers. I don't use enough gas in my other cars to equate 1,000 gal/yr but fair is fair.

@bigassfans total props to everyone I've talked to lately especially Brent to help me with my two new L fans. Two fans plus PCB upgrades to my two old Haiku fans (thanks Jonesey for sending instructions early!) means every room in the house has a Big Ass Fan in it that can (8!).

Dog ownership is a blessing until it ends. Today we said goodbye to Remy. A true joy to our family the last 14 years. She will be missed & always remembered. We used an at home vet which I highly recommend. Dr. Heinemann frm Beyond the Rainbow created a peaceful setting for Remy
