With exams in full swing it's important to look after your wellbeing. Yesterday Head of Wellbeing Anji and JCR Welfare made 200 exam wellbeing bags full of stress-busting goodies. Student Hannah Lilly also made some study buddies to keep you company in the Library.

Last week some students took a break from the books with a cooking session. Starting with the basics, we prepped a bolognese sauce, and some instant noodle pots, before making - and eating! - a delicious bean quesadilla.

Congratulations to all players who took part in the Cuppers Rugby Bowl Final! A combined Fitz/Sidney/Emma team took on Robinson/Selwyn and were just pipped at the post with a 26-21 final score. Thanks to Dik Ng (@dikng99 ) for the photo.

On Saturday the Fitz squash team beat St Edmund’s 3-2 in the final of the University squash cuppers! From L to R: Jean-Michel Johnston, David Roper, Anant Gupta, Matthew Ord, Matthew Wong. Damir Aries, Emrys Thursfield and Izzy Heath were also part of the squad.

Say hello to Lola our Head of Wellbeing, Anji's Pets as Therapy dog! Lola will be at College most Wednesday evenings for a relaxing stroll to give students a paws from revision.

Congratulations to Fitz student Ammaarah Ravat who competed at BUCS 2025 in Weightlifting at Brunel University on Thursday 3rd April and won a Bronze in the under 55kg women's category for Cambridge. She snatched 48kg and clean and jerked 67kg - a competition personal best!

One last Boat Race post! We are very pleased to report that Fitz's Paul Sansome (Classics 1982) presented the prizes for the Men’s and Women’s Lightweight Rowing. Paul rowed in the Men’s Lightweight boat 40 years ago.

On Wednesday afternoon to mark Stress Awareness Month our Head of Wellbeing Anji Lee hosted a 'Take a Break' session on the Grove Lawn, offering staff and students a chance to step away from work and revision. There was Pimms, strawberries & cream, sunshine and good cheer!

We may not have a Fitz crew member in this year’s Boat Race, but Sarah Winckless (1993) will be keeping the men’s crews in order as the first female umpire on the Championship Course!

We were delighted to welcome over 140 alumni back to Fitz for their 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 Reunion on Saturday 5th April. It was wonderful to see so many friends reconnecting and sharing their experiences of Fitz in the 90s. Thanks to all who joined for this special event!
