.@EWC_EN has silently announced that 20 of last year's EWC winners will be directly invited to EWC26 as Title Defenders. To be eligible, the org that won last year must remain in the game AND retain at least 1 player from 2025 roster. For solo games, it has to be last year's winning player, ex. ULSAN staying in Freecs/Soopers. It is also announced that the 2026 winners must adhere to above rulling for 2027, essentially roster locking players as soon as they win EWC26. Exceptions for 2026: - No Title Defender in SF6 because Xiaohai moved from KSG to Falcons - No direct invite for CS2 and MLBB, but if Mongolz (CS2) and Liquid PH (MLBB) qualify, then they'll receive Title Defender mark on their key.
