It’s going to be a really great year for @Buco_Baseball (KS) sophomore Yusei Uzawa (@yuseiuzawa). 🇯🇵 The 5-7, 170-pound 2B/OF from Chiba, Japan, competed nonstop in his first games of the year. Found ways to impact the game reaching base 5 of 9 times, stealing three bags (had 42 last year) and scoring three runs. Was a vacuum at second base making every play his way. 🎌Big, physical, two-way twin prospects from Japan. Takeru Onozaki (@takeru_onozaki) is a 6-4, 200-pound RHP/OF and Yamato Onozaki is a 6-4, 200-pound RHP/SS both out of Miyagi, JP. Takeru: Showed off a 92 MPH arm from the OF. Had a 93 MPH EV with several home runs in the BP portion of the @FiveTool_Intl Japan Showcase for America. Took to the mound during the games portion topping 89 MPH with a wipeout slider at 76 MPH and curveball at 68-70 MPH. This is good hitting, and I expect good things this spring. Shion Habuto (@ShionHabuto) is a 5-8, 168-pound OF/IF out of Mitaka, Japan. Currently a sophomore at @WVCKnightsBSB (WA). Had a 94 MPH EV picking up multiple hits in the game portion of the @FiveTool_Intl Japan Showcase for America. Home to third was 12.04s and slo-mo side angle 🎥 added. Hit .269 his freshman year with 6 2B, 3B, 10 RBI, 19 BB with 13K in 78 AB adding 12 SB.
