Almost TWO YEARS after a driver veered off the road and destroyed a bus shelter, fully grown tree, and concrete seating, the shelter has been replaced.

Our planet is burning, our city growing, and our traffic worsening. If our city can’t make the bus faster than juggling or jumping rope, what exactly are we doing to solve these crises?

SDOTs assumption that drivers to Capitol Hill will sit in traffic for 34 mins instead of taking a faster bus is obviously wrong and a dangerous assumption keeping a situation at odds with virtually every goal that voters, mayors, city councils and SDOT itself has set for the city

We are beyond disappointed in SDOT's proposals here. The plan of "exploring future options like dedicated bus lanes once key congestion issues are addressed" is completely nonsensical.

The bus has taken 10 minutes to go two blocks and uses the left lane because the right lane is basically a freeway on ramp.
Oh and there’s a while but full of people waiting and the bus is already full
