Really like all the Frenchie contests and I’m glad UD just pushed forward and dropped an Elim with the Superflex not 50% filled yet. There’s no pressure to fill these ASAP because they will fill by the time the season begins.

@Pat_Thorman It’s very weird that everyone decided to start talking about this at once when the trends have been there for the last decade-plus.

It’s a fun offseason topic and we’ll see some more 12- and 13-personnel, but the TE Revolution hype will underwhelm. Hard part about running heavier packages isn’t rolling extra TEs on the field. It’s having TEs truly worth putting out there. Versatile heavy sets are not a new concept. They can and have worked. A handful of teams will be successful with it, but most won’t. Gronk and Hernandez ain’t walking through many of those doors – no matter how many Nate Boerkirchers you overdraft.

Just a quick and random thought - where did this obsession with needing to be the first (or claiming to be the first) to say something come from? Feel like I can't look anywhere on social media without seeing something to this effect. I suppose it's linked to trying to monetize something, and I guess I'm not the target audience since my first instinct is to feel a mixture of embarrassment and off-put by it. Get off my lawn.

@Saints2death Yeah I will chase the 49ers backfield and a few other spots but overall agree, and also a lot of teams are just gonna go committee or be terrible if their lead RB goes down.

@FkCoolers I still think there could be a Kyren Williams situation where a Top 5 back on the year comes out of no where, but I think that would be very, very rare with how the field attacks RB2s now.

I don't think zero RB being dead had anything to do with the first 5 rounds. I think the fact that the field has gotten so efficient at drafting the best RB2s and attacking ambiguous backfields early that there's just not enough meat on the bone at RB to make up ground.

Just one arbitrary example of which there are many. It's more about looking for viable spots than having too many player takes in May (imo).

A bad player and a bad play aren't the same. Example: I don't think Jaydon Blue is a bad player necessarily but I thought once his ADP got steamed in 2025 he was emerging as one of the worst possible plays of 2025. Now he barely has an ADP, the backfield after Javonte is still murky, and his player profile hasn't changed. If he gets deployed at all in outside runs and/or route running he's not a bad dart throw anymore.

Didn’t perform as well as I should have, but had a blast competing on SYTYCT. Big thanks to @peteroverzet for giving me a shot. The further we get in life there are fewer and fewer opportunities to try something new and fall on your face. They’re all worth it. On to the next!

@Neumy2 Ah that makes sense ty - MLB is my newest sport so that 20 max is the sweet spot for me in terms of an affordable way to get more reps and offers a nice ROI if you place top 5. Thanks for the response!

@FkCoolers Hoping once NBA/NHL is done for the season, we will be able to offer it more frequently! Right now it typically comes on Mondays and Fridays. Or when there’s less other daily sports for that day🤝

@Saints2death Yeah I had to chase support a few times to get the info but that's how I obtained it before Big Board started up, because I was mainly curious how frequently the season long ADPs changed on the website and then they gave me the full response when I asked.

@FkCoolers I knew dailies/BRs updated more frequently, but I didn't realize that frequently. They could easily do it more often for best ball.

I think my No. 1 Underdog improvement would be updating ADP in real time or at least once per hour instead of what I think is once per day.

Man... sometimes I read or listen to some stuff and can't tell if I wish I had the level of delusional self-confidence some possess or am perfectly content to second guess everything I do. Can certainly go either way. Life is tough.

But I think if the goal is big channel growth and being distinct, eventually some variety might be needed.

Was listening to @peteroverzet yesterday with @megs08DFS and @Steveospeak. Pete made a good point that “the DFS tout space isn’t saturated but you better come with your own niche if you want to really succeed.” So, what do you think is an untapped niche in the DFS YouTube world?
