Autistic people can’t tolerate fake anything. Their radar for inauthenticity is sharp; it’s a big reason they’re labeled socially awkward or otherwise find themselves ostracized or bullied. They don’t do the fake social graces neurotypical culture normalizes & it triggers people.

@NickStillHere Only children tend to be more intelligent, more comfortable being alone or thinking for themselves and less confirming to social norms. Any one of these things can come off as “weird” to people who are likely far more conforming. Real ones FW only children.

Favoritism is real. You gotta learn to stay out of people’s faces. Only go where the love is shown and the energy is returned. That includes friends, family, and associates. I will always pay attention to how people treat me versus how they treat others.
