The time has come. Welcome @s00nsay to Lucky 7s 😎

My future with Melee: Lately I've been going through a lot of life changes, and I've been thinking about how the game fits in with my current lifestyle and what to do moving forward. Right now I'm trying to finish up moving to SoCal. Truth is, I've been very unhappy with Melee in a lot of different ways. I haven't been proud of my gameplay in a long time, I get frustrated playing or even watching other people, I'm not happy with my results, it mostly hasn't even felt good to play lately. I keep watching Melee top 8 brackets and I always wish I was up there, because I know I have the potential to hang with the rest of the top players and put on a good show. But I just haven't been playing very much and it hasn't been my focus. These past few months, I've been focusing on moving and getting used to my new life in SoCal. However, I still love Melee to death and I still have a burning passion to push myself to be the best competitor I can be. In 2025, I want things to be different. Starting mid January after holiday travels, I'm going to make an effort to practice as much as possible each day and stream significantly more. I'll finally have Fiber internet which lets me play with way more people than I ever could with my "gigablast" AZ connection. I'm also going to do more work with Metafy so any supporters who want to play me can book a session there. On top of that, I'll also be streaming The Bazaar. It might not translate well to Smash viewers, but I'm having a lot of fun with it and I find it to be a great way to wind down after a hardcore session. In short, I'm going to put in significantly more time to practice Melee and grow my stream next year. I'm feeling very determined. I want to push myself much harder than I have throughout the past 5 years. If I keep at it, I'm hoping I can be a staple of top 8 majors again. And who knows; maybe I can win another major one day. Probably not next year, but hopefully in the years to come.
