@iBDWSSBM @_PewPewU Getting the "being boring for winning everything" hate that Hbox used to have. Then people justify it with random nonsense. You played amazing and there was so many fun close sets to watch. The random redditors and top 8 only viewers opinions are loud and dumb Stay sick

Against all odds, I somehow won genesis through 11 sets in losers, through every heavy hitter I’ve given this game everything I physically can, and despite everything it’s been the greatest ride of my life Of course I’d love to have a team and just go to every event, but I know I need to work on myself and I don’t think I can do that while being a full time competitor I want to be the best version of myself for my family, my fans, and this community that’s given me so much. Whether you love me or hate me, I want to be someone that can engross you in the game and bring fruit to the community that’s given me so much I’m going to do my absolute best to come back financially and emotionally secure, and give this game the goat fox it deserves. I’m not that person yet, but for all of you I’ll try my best. Thank you melee, the best game in the world ❤️

After one full year, this is where I ended up. I'm back in the top 10. I'm very proud of what I've accomplished, although I know I have a long and tough road ahead of me. This spot feels very familiar. Close to the top, but still gatekept by the real tournament-winning threats (formally the 5 gods, but now sort of the new gen version of that). This is where I've been throughout most of my Melee career, but these past few years have been the biggest challenge of my life trying to get back to this spot. In order to keep up with everyone, I had to really get out of my comfort zone, work on new techniques, study hard, and keep an open mind to new ideas. There are many things I had to learn and practice that I don't particularly like, but are necessary if I want to push forward. The competition is tougher than ever before, so just winging it isn't an option. I have to stay locked in. My focus is 100% on Melee. The hardest part is just beginning. Years ago, I was able to break through 1 single time and won a major. I had a taste of what it feels like to be on top, even if it was only for one day. With that experience, I at least have an idea of how difficult it is to get there and the mental battles you have to face. Most importantly, I know it's possible. I don't expect to get close to winning anything this year, but I'm taking small steps forward to hopefully have a victory at least one more time in the next handful of years. I really want to make it happen. I know I can do it. Looking back on the past year, I didn't accomplish everything I wanted to. I want to try to stream more consistently, and I want to stream The Bazaar a lot more too (I still play nearly every day, just off stream). I also think this is the year I finally start coaching on Metafy. All of these things just help me get in a nice flow and have a healthy relationship with the game, because playing too much can also not be good for long term health. Plus I think streaming The Bazaar and coaching will just be a lot of fun. Huge thank you to @Tempo_Storm. They're the ones sending me to all of these events and helping me live my dream. They have treated me like family and I'm so grateful. And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me get this far. Thank you for cheering me on. I hope to make it even further.

My future with Melee: Lately I've been going through a lot of life changes, and I've been thinking about how the game fits in with my current lifestyle and what to do moving forward. Right now I'm trying to finish up moving to SoCal. Truth is, I've been very unhappy with Melee in a lot of different ways. I haven't been proud of my gameplay in a long time, I get frustrated playing or even watching other people, I'm not happy with my results, it mostly hasn't even felt good to play lately. I keep watching Melee top 8 brackets and I always wish I was up there, because I know I have the potential to hang with the rest of the top players and put on a good show. But I just haven't been playing very much and it hasn't been my focus. These past few months, I've been focusing on moving and getting used to my new life in SoCal. However, I still love Melee to death and I still have a burning passion to push myself to be the best competitor I can be. In 2025, I want things to be different. Starting mid January after holiday travels, I'm going to make an effort to practice as much as possible each day and stream significantly more. I'll finally have Fiber internet which lets me play with way more people than I ever could with my "gigablast" AZ connection. I'm also going to do more work with Metafy so any supporters who want to play me can book a session there. On top of that, I'll also be streaming The Bazaar. It might not translate well to Smash viewers, but I'm having a lot of fun with it and I find it to be a great way to wind down after a hardcore session. In short, I'm going to put in significantly more time to practice Melee and grow my stream next year. I'm feeling very determined. I want to push myself much harder than I have throughout the past 5 years. If I keep at it, I'm hoping I can be a staple of top 8 majors again. And who knows; maybe I can win another major one day. Probably not next year, but hopefully in the years to come.

They thought they were going to get a dumb angry punk ranting. Instead they got articulate and considered responses to each question with facts to back it up when needed. Their hope to further vilify me couldn’t run, so they target Louis to make an example for sitting with me.

@RollingStone There's level to ai usage. Some forms of AI have been tools for years and are only getting highlighted now. There's a difference between hoping throwing stuff at an LLM will output a whole game, and using it to ask if code doc questions or to fill in an existing texture

My sweetest little boy has passed away He had a decline this afternoon and we rushed to see him. We got to him just in time and they let him go. We were with him in his final moments, telling him how perfect he was, with his blanket and giving him chin scritches
