When you fund an agency, you fund the agency in its entirety. It’s happened every year for at least the last 60 years. There’s nothing being “forced”. They’re following protocol that they did not create. The money that was allocated last summer as part of the Big Beautiful Bill was allocated specifically for additional capital to assist them with closing the border, tracking down criminals, and deporting them, en masse. It wasn’t a departmental appropriations bill. At every turn you attempt to twist the facts to try to save face here. Nobody’s buying it. Specifically, because, as you just admitted, ICE and CBP are funded if need be. Shutting down an entire agency over some of their child agencies yearly allocation, is tantamount to holding people’s paychecks hostage because your feelings are hurt. If the Dems cared, they’d fund it, and then submit bills for immigration law reforms. Holding hard-working people’s wallets hostage for leverage over a completely unrelated and irrelevant reason is not the way. I hope you address your ignorance soon. The only person that can help you, is you.

That’s a completely unrelated question. The bill is clean. It funds DHS as a whole, as all appropriations bills do. That’s it. There’s literally zero reason to reject it based on merits of the bill. Not one. But my answer to your question (since you’ve failed to answer mine), is that it would be whoever’s fault that introduced a dirty bill. Similar to the SAVE America Act - except, we put just the voter ID part up for a vote, and thereby addressing the other bits later so that “dirty items” don’t detract from the bills proposed, and that was still rejected by the Dems - even though democrats are on record saying they would be in support of that.

Votes. It shows votes. Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Voting “no” on a bill is the only documented, irrefutable way to prove or even just show opposition on a bill. There is evidence of the democrats doing that. I shared it with you - evidential proof of those votes. What you sent me was simply bills sent to committee that are still in committee. The only people preventing homeland security from getting paid are the democrats. They shut it down via “no” votes in the first place. They prevent them from getting paid via “no” votes, as recently as yesterday. I can’t believe I have to explain this to an Americans citizen. This is learned in middle school. Do better - every message you send saying otherwise makes you look worse and worse.
