GM 🤟 Last week I collected 32 pieces of art on Solana and Tezos for my MQQ internship and here's the report ⬇️🧵(second attempt at posting this 😭) (TL;DR I had a blast, and it was honestly an enlightening experience)

My most precious purchase by @Element_Lee on @objktcom I DM'd the artist years ago because his work touched me deeply. I'm happy to have finally made a purchase and I will keep this piece for myself according to the MQQ internship rules. Two passions of mine are weirdly combined in this work: Chinese painting and glitchy C64 games that don't actually work. The isometric/infinite perspective is of course a hallmark of Chines painting but I never really connected it to an "open world" third person game. This is the kind of fuck-you minimalist that demands respect. The three color palette is perfect. The clumsiness of the line work, the unapologetic way of suggesting shapes rather than spell them out or make them work with the pixel grid. The scale of it. Everything is perfect. A true masterpiece in my opinion, and I'm glad it has waiting for me.

One of my favorite pieces from the past week, and it also has a physical because this is actual embroidery. @eloychaperon is one of the most interesting artists around, especially on Solana. This piece is scary but beautiful, but there's a sweetness in the art that softens the message. I won this piece in an auction on @mallowdotart 🔥

More @edictzone pieces. I minted each one of these for 10 droplets on @drip_haus. This reminds me of my own abstract work from the past. I love the boldness of the minimalism, the balance in the composition and the shapes speak to my soul for some reason.

Vestiges #7 and #8 by @paldipaldi Sometimes I collect work that I would like to have made myself and Vestiges is in that category. I have done very similar work in the past with these kinds of structures/houses and this just speaks to me in many ways. It's transcendent, it feels like an abstract indie game, it's minimal, the palette is awesome, also reminds me of M.C. Escher a little, I love everything about it. Purchased on @objktcom

A Chad and Real Creature Battle. Minting on @vvvdotso is a vibe I like the Chad because it has some julian Opi vibes, I love the inconsistencies in texture and the simplicity. It's also pretty stupid what can I say. The creatures are dope, retro gaming references get me every time, I'm easy.
