Aside from the price it may take to trade for Giannis, the other component/factor that I think matters is the fact Giannis is owed a max extension
Depending on what they give up, is it the best option for the future to be paying high 50s/60M for age 33-37 of Giannis?

@Flash_Zim Yes, it was Tatum coming back was not to win a title now if anything came of it and we got some success then so be it. Tatum had to come back just to play and get his confidence and rythmn back the vision was always for 2027.

All year long, I’ve seen so many celtics fans calling this their ‘favorite season’ & nobody took that as a shot at JT.
Let’s be real about 2024 we were 14 games ahead of the rest of the East. We had a massive talent gap, and we all knew the trophy was ours. The fun part about this year is that we were projected to be a lottery team. This roster Wasn’t built for a title run everyone said we’d be at the bottom of the standings, but we proved them all wrong.

I didn't say yes or no, just that part of the equation is how Brad/ownership feels about the needed extension
I highly doubt they trade for him without it (think Kawhi 2019), so if they aren't comfortable with it then it's a non-starter to begin with
