With screens all around, many of us spend hours at day staring at them. This can lead to digital eye strain. You can help prevent it though with artificial tears or by following the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

It might be Friday the 13th, but your eye doctor isn't trying to scare you! Getting an eye exam is one of the best ways to keep your eyes healthy.

March is Workplace Eye Wellness Month. Take precautions to keep your eyes safe, like wearing safety glasses if you work with tools or machinery. #eyesafety #eyehealth

Even though Rare Disease Day may have passed, the importance of researching, treating, and caring for those with rare diseases has not. Let's make every day Rare Disease Day and give every disease the care and attention they deserve ❤️.

Our last member of our retina team for you to meet is Dr. Vikas Khetan. Dr. Khetan treats adult and pediatric retina cases, and also leads our ocular oncology service. He was also recently named to the editorial board for Scientific Reports.

The next member of our retina team is Dr. David Kleinman. Dr. Kleinman has expert knowledge and experience in vitreoretinal surgery. He is also passionate about developing new treatments for eye diseases.

Another member of our retina team is Dr. Rajeev Ramchandran. He specializes in retinal surgery and laser therapy. In addition to his surgical work, he is also the leader of our MobilEyes program and is passionate about health equity.

The next member of our retina service is Dr. David DiLoreto. Dr Diloreto is the Chair of Ophthalmology and Director of the Flaum Eye Institute. He is a highly experienced surgeon and has received a National Institutes’ for Health clinician-scientist training award.

Our next member of our retina team is Dr. Mark Breazzano. He is the director of our Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program and has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. He is also an experienced surgeon and was formerly a faculty member at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.

With February being AMD Awareness Month, we want to introduce our retina team. First up is Dr Raja Narayanan, who is our retina chief. He has decades of experience managing retina cases, and is involved in stem cell therapy research to restore vision to people with AMD.
