At a loss for words right now… the hospital he originally got rushed in an ambulance to locally was confident his cancer was back and blocking his airways and that he needed emergency surgery… We’ve been in St. louis at a specialist for the last 2 days, and we finally got the PET scan results back… Dad is still CANCER FREE, nothing is blocking his airways, his throat is slightly inflamed from all of the harsh treatments he went through months ago… He does have pneumonia from aspirating his liquids when he drinks which has been a continuous issue with his throat muscles being so weak Super grateful that Dad is doing better as of now and is still cancer free… what is mindblowing to me is how the first local hospital basically said he was going to die that night if he didn’t have surgery, sending my whole family and dad into a panic This whole process has been scary, life changing, and beyond stressful for our entire family, praying that dads health gets better soon ❤️
