Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Aaron Houle, and I started Flint Prep Fan in 2022 to give a positive outlook on Flint area sports. I am a Grand Blanc and SVSU alumni. Thank you all for following along!

The @FlintCityBucks host @ForwardMSNFC at Grand Blanc's Don Batchelor Field on Thursday! I've been supporting Flint City since they moved to Flint in 2019. This is the 1st time they have been involved in the US Open Cup since their move to Atwood Stadium.

Good luck to RJ Taylor and Northern Iowa against St. John's in the NCAA Tournament. Past March Madness successes of P45 alumni include Holden Greiner and Lehigh beating Duke, and Zach Hankins outstanding player of the tournament for D2 national champion Ferris State.

Maybe do a winning % clause that moves teams up a Division. My one example would be Tri Unity Christian. They have been to the final 4 7 years in a row i believe. They should move up to D3. Whereas a team like Genesee Christian has been 1 time in that time frame so they stay D4

I've seen a lot of debate on this but I do not want public and private schools separated for state titles. I do think we need to find a better way to decide what division private play schools play in. It cheapens the state title without private schools involved.

Here are the final Flint Prep Fan Power Rankings for the 2025-26 boys basketball season! Flint Elite makes a deep run to the Breslin and the top 3 all lost to the eventual state champion in their Divisions.

What a great boys basketball season this was! Thank you all for following along, sharing your opinions, and supporting your local schools! I am already working on Football schedules and more. I look forward to getting to some 7v7 football and maybe some summer league basketball.

This was one of the best MHSAA basketball finals in a while!!! Almost all the games were competitive and the crowds brought it this weekend!! Each State Final game was a BATTLE! To both winners and runner ups, GREAT JOB!
