Severe weather is possible for parts of western Europe today. A windstorm is bringing strong winds to northern Norway. Very little signs of any windstorm development over the next couple of days.

High pressure is expected to shield much of Europe from Atlantic windstorms. Chance of severe weather across parts of central and southwestern Europe. Later in the week, signs of a cool down over parts of Europe.

Storm #Dave is a rare April storm set to impact #Scotland and #Norway. In Scotland, wind gusts could exceed 120-130 km/h tomorrow, while Norway is expected to be the hardest hit, with gusts reaching up to 160 km/h on Sunday.

#StormDave has been named and is forecast to bring damaging winds across northern parts of the UK, with some disruptive snow possible in northwest Scotland later on Saturday and into Easter Day #WeatherAware

Storm #Erminio is currently over Sicily, bringing heavy rainfall to parts of Italy. Another storm system is set to enter the Mediterranean tomorrow with strong winds and heavy rain to #Greece and #Turkey. Multiple windstorms may develop over the North Atlantic in the coming days.

Storm #Therese is continuing to impact the Canary Islands with rain and wind. A windstorm is rapidly intensifying south of Iceland, possibly developing a sting jet. Another storm could impact the British Isles, Iceland and Norway this coming week.

A subtropical storm has formed in the Mediterranean Sea and will make landfall in #Libya. Flash flooding is possible. #Medicane

Storm #Regina is expected to bring unsettled conditions across the Iberian Peninsula, along with a plume of Saharan dust spreading into parts of western Europe. More windstorms is expected to form near Greenland/Iceland and the Norwegian Sea over the next few days.

@anonymous57691 Montenegro could get around 50 mm of rain on the coast, and 10-20 cm of snow further inland from this system. Winds wont be very strong, perhaps locally 65-80 km/h gusts at most as of now.
