I’m a black man that knows how to code, owns and controls $700k worth of real estate, makes multiple 6 figures a year, has a healthy bank account, no kids, no record, who made it out the projects on his own merit. My accomplishments are not to be taken lightly.

@KxDem What could you say was the key thing to your success? Obviously your story isn’t the exception, nor is it the norm for everyone from your background. What could tour government or your community have done to help more people follow your path ?

@learntech I have! Certainly a work in progress though. I do a little for my own websites but not sure how confident I am to sell my services just yet. Some google certs are free, but again, time consuming. Thank you!! I've got so many options now!

Question for Personal Finance Twitter: I’m unemployed and freaking out about not having the extra $600 and trying to avoid the outdoors as to not risk myself. Does anyone have ideas on how else to increase income? Before anyone says it, I don’t have anything to sell 😅

@dgtlbudget Shipt and door dash. My daughters are making $500 to $700 per week door dashing 3 hours per day. If you’re really serious, you could get your life insurance license and protect families over the phone.
