A bit of professional news: I’m leaving @djournalnow next month. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, working for my hometown newspaper and leading a newsroom of really talented journalists. I was blessed to inherit a great newsroom, and I know they will continue to excel. 1/

Thousands of Kentuckians, including police and first responders from across the state, filled the Scott County High School gym for a funeral service for fallen Scott County Sheriff’s Deputy Caleb Conley in Georgetown, KY. Conley was buried at Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana.
