The 3s were rubbish last week in Div 6A and so the batting is strengthened with @flitwickferg on Smith’s Meadow debut! The first time visitors are Cheshunt Rosedale 2s who won well last week. @jtwist74 stands in as skipper in a generally experienced XI. #coyo 🏏🦦🦦

The 2s were ruthless last week to record 30 points but for today’s local derby the selectors have been ruthless!! Two drubbings at the hands of our neighbours last season, although they took a pasting last week to start 2026. I would always rather be an Otter.. 🎶 #coyo 🏏🦦🦦

A mighty fine win last week for the 1s over fancied Stortford. Today a trip to the big open space in Watford, team unchanged. West Herts posted an impressive demolition of TM last week so will need to play well. Last season’s equivalent fixture was a washout. #coyo 🏏🦦🦦

The 4s had a bit more depth to their team and started RD11W with a facile win on Smith’s Meadow. Bushey 3s batted first and made 166 a/o with wickets shared. That was easily chased down for the loss of only 2 wickets with JT anchoring. No game next week!

When a team fails to chase down 75 runs to win a league, it probably isn’t a surprise that they then bat for less than 30 overs to start a new season! Poor pitch, poor batting, 106 a/o for the 3s in a first local derby in yonks! 56-5 in reply but viable bowlers ran out of overs
