I’ve been battling constant thoughts of suicide as of late.. daily, it is suffocating. A lot of my energy goes to getting myself to the next day. The pain in my nerves is causing comms to be a slower process in itself but my mental health issues take the most toll. I appreciate that some are concerned and want to help but trust me, there is nothing you can suggest that I haven’t already tried. XD I’ll be fine eventually..

@hackhilarity I left Canada at age 21 because I couldn’t afford to live, I’ve been gone 2 years and I miss my home. I was born there, worked there. The government offered no assistance at all because I “didn’t work enough” It’s a real issue that people don’t talk about enough.

I’m a 56-year-old white male Canadian who paid into the system for 40 years. This is my 1-bedroom apartment — no kitchen or washroom included. Can’t find work. Government pays me just $365/month with zero help on housing. Immigrants and refugees get free housing and live comfortably, while the system I contributed to for decades leaves me behind. The hardest thing about having an abusive family is that they’ll tell you they love you, that they care. Other people might say so as well but then they’ll treat you like absolute dog shit, they’ll hurt you and when you speak your mind about it they’ll blame you.

To update folks on this, several months ago the file for this piece got corrupted, and my dumb flank did not have any kind of proper backup 🥲 I made an attempt to restart the project from scratch, but the amount of progress I lost on the original was a huge demotivator (1/2)

I finally have an update on this! The vibe I'm going for is 'first storm of the season'. FiM showed us how pegasi come together to bring in the winter and spring, and following that idea, I like to think they'd also come together for the first big storm of the year.

CPTSD is great because I keep getting told that my thinking is wrong but then immediately get proven right by those exact people, you can push yourself to do better and all it takes is one passive aggressive comment or joke from someone and you are back in that fucking hole.
