@Floofy_Boo I still struggle with this sometimes ! but a tool I’ve used it start with humming it first , then speak it and then add singing . Something to remember is even big artists have certain editing to make their voice sound like that!

Im on day 2 of singing. I'm attempting to sing about 20-30secs of a song every day until I hit 100 days. The week after 100 I want to do a karaoke stream. WITH THAT. does anyone have any tips or tricks to stop just copying the artist. How does one find their voice their style!

@Floofy_Boo For the monitoring, ideally you have input and output directly from an audio interface, so that it has minimal to no delay because if it's echoing off of the moment you sing, it's gonna just be nuisance.

@ArumaChisaki Everytime I hear my echo my brain freezes XD I've been trying my hand at karaoke stuff it's def a struggle but I'll get there. Good to know I wasn't wrong with trying that out ^^

@Floofy_Boo Idk if you are doing this already, slowly practicing without the original vocals or over karaoke with just guides is a good starting point. Or you can try using an instrument to play the melody and singing over that. While practicing, have the monitor on so you can hear yourself.
