My brother in law told me this weekend that one of his workers wives along with four other women went to Mexico City to get a “mummy makeover” earlier this year. When they got back to Canada all of them started feeling sick. After multiple tests they learned they ALL were missing a kidney. They contacted a lawyer in Alberta to sue the company and within a week the lawyer said they couldn’t take their case because they were being threatened by the Mexican cartel. They all now need dialysis for life unless they get another kidney. Why isn’t this world wide news? I watched this in the movies but never thought it would hit to close to home.

It is just a movie people. Quit making it political. Sheesh. I am 65 and my 18 are old grandson took me to see Sinners. We both liked it. It wasn't thst scary but I did jump at the snake in the back of the truck. Music was awesome. I don't remember the last time I saw a vampire movie. It took my mind off of the things it needed to for a couple hours. Popcorn was awesome.

So many "film reviewers" are saying Sinners is a GREAT MOVIE when the overt plot is just the same thing as 1/2 of all Woke Hollywood movies these days

@fordnation There might be some short term pain for some long term gain for Americans but their decrease in personal income tax will make up for it. There won't be many jobs at risk....look at the companies moving their manufacturing to the US. They will be hiring soon.

Today Premier Doug Ford @fordnation said one day Alberta might have to give approval for a federal tax on oil and gas headed from Alberta to the United States. I understand our new Prime Minister @MarkJCarney has mused about the same thing. Let me be clear… Alberta will never agree to such an absurd and self destructive idea. It’s not an option. I’m not going to agree to do something that will cost hundreds of thousands of Albertans (and Canadians) their jobs almost overnight. That would be like placing export tariffs on Ontario auto parts. Also a bad idea. There are many effective ways that Canada and Alberta can work together to pressure the U.S. President to change course on tariffs - THAT is not one of them… period.

Yesterday mid-day, the Harris Campaign was euphoric, as early intel was great. Nancy Pelosi assured us we had the votes to take the House. Cory Booker said he believed the race would be called for Harris by the end of the night. Charlie Kirk and Stephen Miller were publicly panicking. Somehow, in a matter of hours that all completely shifted. That's the thing that really made this painful. It was a full pendulum swing into darkness. It defies understanding.

It appears that Trump’s mental collapse is far worse than previously thought. The public events he has done in recent days have been difficult to watch and it’s no surprise he keeps cancelling interviews. I know many of you have seen elderly family members struggle in similar ways. This sort of decline accelerates rapidly.

I finally had words with a neighbor tonight. He’s a Pharmacist. He lives just two houses down. He just retired. He has the gaudiest bunch of Trump flags and signs in his front yard I’ve ever seen. I was walking with my wife tonight, and we saw him; he was out walking as well. “You know Trump is going to lose, right?” I said in the cockiest way I could manage. (I’d been wanting to say this to him for a good while) “I don’t know about that!” he says as he laughed. Well…I let him have it. (Verbally, of course) When he left…he wasn’t confused-at all-about how I felt about the Trump BS in his yard, or his support for a man who denigrates our veterans. I’m a veteran. You vote for anyone you want. You can put anything in your yard you want. And, when you live 150 feet away from me, when I see you, I can express myself to you about both. How any veteran can tolerate a man who has called the fallen “Suckers and losers” is beyond me. I’ve bitten my tongue more times than I can count. I chose not to, tonight.
