You know who is woefully underappreciared in the hobby and really baseball lore? Jerome Walton. Far and away my favorite player of all time. Rookie of the Year, who really was a bright blip in the century long futile franchise that is the Chicago Cubs. It's hard being the most die hard Cubs fan on Earth. Each day I have to take it from those pretentious Cardinals pseudo-fans. But Jerome gave us all a little glimmer of greatness, even for just a season. I'm not trying to pump and dump, but I think everyone should go on now and snatch up these 1990 Rookie Cups. He's an unrealized investment. Keep sleeping on this card. Come check in with me in 106 years and tell me that I was right.

@BlueWahoosBBall Skanska is building it too, so it should really create that bond in the community that we've all been thirsty for.

@onemillioncubs @FloridaCardGuy I still have an autograph signed to me from his Rookie Year. A friend of the family got it at a mall signing, when that was big deal, going to the mall😂😂😂

@OffDaHook35 Only Fans should probably take on breaking while we're on subject. It can't be any worse than WN.

@onemillioncubs You need to Ebay live a handful of his Rookies. I bet you can easily nab $14-$16 a piece.

@FloridaCardGuy Jerome Walton was my favorite back in 1989/1990. Met him at a charity softball game a few years ago.

@RLRottman Fully aware of all of this. That was the last part of my response.
AI is here. Ain't no going back. Adapt and survive.
English

@FloridaCardGuy You're teaching AI to sound more human. It's not there to help you. You're also letting your employer know you need AI to help you write an email.
There are already autonomous forklifts in distribution centers across the country.

I ran Ty Wilson’s tweet thread through the AI detection tool at justdone.com. It determined it was 79% AI content.
That’s right. I used an AI tool to identify AI.
I wonder who wrote the remaining 21%. 😄

@asalovey96 How about the Red? Is this an upgrade option?

@RLRottman These workers - me - are laborers too. We're simply helping to craft with AI the messaging. AI, at least in my world, doesn't have two legs and two hands, and ten fingers, and can drive a forklift and can go visit customers on site. But the reality remains.
English

@FloridaCardGuy The workers who rely on AI to write their messages will be among the first workers replaced by AI.

@SportsCardInv Thanks for this reminder. We'd all forgotten this for about 80 seconds.

@onemillioncubs I've enjoyed all of the comments on this, good and bad, high and low.
