@JbcTrader @NeverFearTheFal The dedicated taxes for roads exist because of usage. If you under invest in transit there's no incentive for funding. If you invest, build ridership, then the same tax base follows. You're using the absence of investment as an argument against investing

@JbcTrader @NeverFearTheFal Those taxes do help but they actually don't cover the whole cost. Since 2008 congress has transferred over $275 billion in taxpayer money to cover shortfalls because fuel tax revenues and other taxes couldn't cover the entire cost. Also your logic is circular-

@JbcTrader @NeverFearTheFal Roads do not pay for themselves except if you mean the investment they spur. That is the exact same case for public transit. If you want less traffic when you drive then investing in transit to take cars off the road is a no brainer. This shouldn't be controversial.

there will likely be multiple variances, including one for height boosts from the 65-ft currently allowed on-site. The venue is planned to seat 4,300 and generate $80 million annually and create more than 400 jobs. Kettler and Darryl Shaw is leading the development.

Live Nation (Update): Tampa A Live Nation venue planned in Ybor City's GasWorx neighborhood hit its first setback this week. Tampa's Barrio Latino Commission reviewed both the proposed venue & a variance for a grand oak removal. The removal of the oak was the point of dispute.

The building will rise 11 stories or 153 FT. Juneau Construction is serving as the general contractor while Niles Boston Associates is the architect. Completion is targeted in Fall 2028 ahead of the beginning of the semester. Read more on the Floridian Development website!

110 South Boulevard: Tampa UTampa and RISE RE has filed construction permits to construct the University of Tampa's largest dormitory hall ever. The 238-unit project will have 833 beds, targeting 1st & 2nd-year students. There will be 2,040 SF for dining & 46 parking spots.
