🚨🚨🚨Thierry Henry on Marc Cucurella’s performance vs France: For me, Marc Cucurella was the best player on the pitch tonight. He was absolutely outstanding from the first minute to the last. France have some of the most dangerous attacking players in world football, but he made sure they barely had any joy down his side. His positioning, his aggression, his timing in the tackle and the way he read the game were simply world class. People always talk about the goalscorers, but performances like this are what win you major tournaments. If Spain are in the World Cup final, Cucurella deserves enormous credit because he was the key to this victory. In my opinion, he’s the best left-back in the world right now, and if he continues performing like this on the biggest stage, he deserves to be in the Ballon d’Or conversation.

🚨🎙️ “It’s Not Always About Superstars” — Jürgen Klopp Praises Spain 🇪🇸 Masterclass First of all ,You have to give credit where it’s deserved — and tonight, all the credit goes to Luis de la Fuente and his team. Honestly, what they did against France is not normal. We all know how dangerous France have been since the start of this competition. The quality they have — world-class players everywhere, players who can decide a game in one moment. So to face that and not just defend, but actually dominate… wow. Spain controlled the game in a way that didn’t allow France to breathe. They kept the ball, they moved it with purpose, and most importantly, they kept it away from a team that lives off transitions. That’s smart football, that’s brave football. And defensively — I mean, come on — to concede just one goal on the way to a World Cup final? That’s crazy. This is what happens when a coach gets the absolute best out of his players. Organization, timing, discipline… everyone knows exactly what to do. This is not about one or two superstars. This is football. Real football. A team working together, trusting the system, sacrificing for each other. Of course, talent is important, but without structure, without a clear idea, talent alone is not enough. Luis de la Fuente showed that perfectly. He built a team, not just a collection of names. So yes, France are still incredible, but tonight you just have to say it as it is — Spain were the better team in every department. And when football is played like this, you can only respect it. Replace the headline with a better one

🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Spain Eliminating France People will look at France and talk about the talent, the superstars, but this game shows again that football is not always about that. You need more than big names to win a World Cup. I’ve experienced it myself with England. We had unbelievable players — David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, and many more top players — and we still didn’t win a World Cup. That tells you everything about how difficult it is. It’s not about who you have on paper, it’s about how you function as a team. If you don’t play together, if you don’t have that connection and understanding, you don’t win it. Simple as that. And that’s what Luis de la Fuente’s side showed tonight. They were a proper team. Organized, disciplined, and fully committed to each other. They didn’t rely on individuals, they relied on the collective. That’s why I don’t agree when people try to downplay the World Cup. I’ve heard comments like that before, even from someone like Cristiano Ronaldo. For me, I can’t accept that. Every kid dreams of winning a World Cup — it’s the biggest stage, the biggest achievement in football. Spain showed tonight exactly what it takes. Not just talent, but a real team. And that’s why they’re going to the final.”

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Spain Controversial Penalty I understand why people are debating it — that’s football. In moments like that, everyone has an opinion. Some will say it’s not a penalty, and I respect that. But I’m not going to sit here and be dishonest just because it’s against my own team. Those who truly understand the game, who have played it or studied it closely, will recognize what happened. It’s not just about the contact — it’s about the situation, the movement, the intelligence of the player. Lamine Yamal showed brilliant awareness. He knew exactly what he was doing in that moment. His positioning, the way he anticipates the challenge — that’s top-level football intelligence. And when you put a defender like Lucas Digne in that situation, reacting under pressure, these things can happen. He commits, maybe a fraction too late, maybe not perfectly timed — and that’s enough. For me, I don’t see why there should be so much doubt. You can debate it, yes, but you also have to give credit. Credit to the attacker for creating that moment. At this level, these small details decide games. And today, that awareness from Yamal made the difference.
