BREAKING: Cannabis is moving to Schedule III, starting with medical. Under a new order, state-regulated medical cannabis and any FDA-approved marijuana products will be classified as Schedule III. For operators, this begins to ease the burden of 280E — a tax rule that has limited standard business deductions for years. Rescheduling also opens the door to expanded federal research, accelerating how cannabis is studied and understood. On June 29, an expedited administrative hearing will begin to consider broader rescheduling from Schedule I to Schedule III. This isn't the finish line to full legalization, but it's a meaningful step forward. Credit to the operators, advocates, and patients who pushed this forward.

@FlowhubCo In 2019, I gave CBD to a 12-year-old 100+ lb OG golden doodle who was in pain. I watched her transform instantly into a puppy again jumping and running around. I was convinced right then that CBD wasn't snake oil. Dogs can't fake it. They don't know about the placebo effect.

CBD reduced pain in ~80% of dogs with arthritis in Cornell study. Are the prohibitionists just cat people?
