A couple of weeks ago, Delta Fantasy was just an idea. Today it has a home: DeltaFantasy.net It's still a work in progress, but that's part of building something from the ground up. I'll keep adding articles, improving the site, and sharing the process along the way. Thanks to everyone who's supported the journey so far.

Sorry guys haven't been as active here as I'd like but it's been busy. Behind the scenes we've been building. DeltaFantasy.net continues to grow. Working on a Front Office app that can analyze fantasy rosters, trades, and rebuilds. Squashing bugs, expanding the player database, and getting feedback from beta testers. It's not perfect yet, but I'd rather build something useful than rush something flashy. Appreciate everyone following the journey. The best is still ahead. 👊

@draftuncut That's what I appreciate about your process. Traits matter, but production has to matter too. It'll be interesting to revisit this in November and see how quickly the market catches up on Uiagalelei if the tape keeps matching the numbers. 👀

The funny thing is, if people actually watched the tape or looked at the metrics, there’d be no debate... There are a few names out there, but the elephant in the room is leaving Arch Manning off. Honestly, he’s not even a top 5 QB if you go strictly by the numbers! Even though he might have the deepest bag of traits in College Football for 2025, he just didn't put up production over the full season. As for the list, having Mataio Uiagalelei that high might turn some heads, but it’s only gonna take a few weeks into the season for people to buy in. We're talking about a certified freak with insane upside.

That's actually a big part of my process. I start with the player's underlying performance, then layer in the environment—offensive line, receiving corps, coaching, play volume, and offensive philosophy. My goal is determining whether the market is valuing the player or the situation. That's where I think some of the biggest dynasty edges are found.

It's a good analysis, but an elite QB ends up at a crossroads if his OTs can’t hold up the pressure and if his receivers don’t give him enough weapons to work with… do you do your analysis by looking at whether these players have the support of the group around them for their development?

Great question. My read is this isn't a "Stroud isn't good" sell—it's a "Stroud is fully priced" sell. Elite passer, but dynasty rewards fantasy points, and rushing raises the ceiling. If Houston's offense bounces back in 2026, I think this sharp sell signal disappears quickly. That's what I'll be watching this season.
