i have now properly retopo'ed the serperior~! now to rig him for vr, hoping this isnt hard .w.;
using the armature of a similar model for it

@FluffyLati Retopology is always best sadly, it takes a ton of time, but hey at least you will feel glad that it came out well.

so i may need some blender advice form someone.
i shaped out a serperior model i was going to make based on my serperior form but im struggling connecting things together. anyone know any way to do that without it looking bad?

@Sharkstuffnsfw ignore my last post, i decided to just reput together the body as i realized my previous version i did wasnt even so it was going to be way harder to retopo it, though the shrink modifier isn't doing much now

@FluffyLati It’s Retopology time. Pro tip, for something like this where MOST of the mesh is good already, just use a duplicate of your base mesh and shrinkwrap that to itself with an offset, then you can very easily, manually Retopo JUST the seams you want to fix.

@WasMayheader Ill give that a shot, i tried smooth tooling it but it seems i need to do more then just that.

@FluffyLati I’m not a Blender expert, but you’ll want to “square off” the areas where body sections meet. The jagged lines are because the meet points aren’t a 3/4 point shape so use the knife tool + dissolve edges in edit mode. Also the smooth tool in edit mode might also help

@Stringentfoot Im trying to not do that. A friend showed me a square technique to make it where it should avoid needing to retopo'ing it but i dont know a way to connect every together without it looking bad.

tried doing a model edit of a bird model i like but its so weirdly made with its blender file and export settings that i just am giving up on it.
like of all the edits ive done never has a model had such weird broken anomalies that the corvid model does
