It's worth a reminder. The last Far Right Protest attracted 80 people (inc youtubers) The population of Altrincham is 78,000. The vast majority of locals are at gyms, restaurants, bars, parks or at home spending quality time with friends and family. Most people are decent.

@The_AngloSaxon @Tanni_GT 100% agree....the people I know that claim PIP or know of not one of them actually incur any additional costs for having their illness or disability. They claim it cos they can n live very normal lives. My sister has cancer & has chosen not to claim PIP as she's doesn't need it!

I don't think it should be removed, but I definitely think there's some people who have it and shouldn't. Social media like tik tok showing people what to say in forms and what to do at assessments has been a huge part of the problem. I think the assessment process needs to be fair but also far more robust. I don't think it's reasonable to take it away from people who actually genuinely need it. It's not the sign of a decent society. Although I don't suppose it is a decent society anymore, on many levels, sadly.

Just to be clear PIP is not an out of work benefit. It is fundamental to understand the absolute basics when we reform the welfare system
